Marietta, GA – Is this Necessary? A maxim from my dad.
I remember this maxim from my dad who would have been 80 last week. We lost him to cancer in 2005.
Here is something that he would say to me that I remind myself today…
“Why spend money you don’t have, for things you don’t need, to impress people you don’t like?”
By removing the negatives in this quotation, it becomes even more impactful….
“Spend money that you have, for things you need to impress upon people that you like.”
Are you being authentic and true to your friends and to yourself? Don’t live in a reality that you create that isn’t what you really want.
